York Racecourse is proud to have been regularly voted “UK Racecourse of the Year” by the Racegoers Club. This season promises to be another cocktail of sporting drama, summer sunshine, culinary delights and luxury hospitality.

In August the Knavesmire plays host to the four-day Ebor Festival, with each day hosting a major race on the Flat Racing calendar, with prize money now totalling £4.4 million for the week.

The festival opens with the Group 1 Juddmonte International, Thursday hosts Ladies Day and the Yorkshire Oaks.   The climax of the week is Ebor day itself and with a prize of £285,000 it attracts the best trainers, leading Jockeys and top thoroughbreds from around the country.
