The Epsom Derby is the most prestigious Horse Race anywhere in the world. The Queen attends every year without fail, and even though it’s the only British Classic race that one of her horses has never won, it hasn’t put her off trying.

The Investec Epsom Derby, raced on the Saturday is also the richest race in Britain, with a £1.5 million prize to its name.
